Job description

Unified Talent Group is supporting the search for a Paralegal in Oklahoma City OK, to join a well-established legal team supporting both litigation and transactional matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of cases and transactions while partnering closely with attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders throughout the legal process.

About the Role

In this role, you will support complex litigation matters, corporate transactions, commercial real estate projects, and business initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, critical thinking, and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
  • Conduct legal, factual, and investigative research and prepare summaries and memoranda for attorneys
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • Coordinate document collection, review, organization, and production for litigation matters
  • Assist with witness interviews, witness preparation, and deposition coordination
  • Prepare deposition summaries, exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, and other case materials
  • Manage case calendars, deadlines, court filings, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial schedules
  • Support commercial real estate, corporate, financing, and transactional matters through due diligence and document preparation
  • Assist with entity formation, title and survey review, UCC searches, and closing documentation
  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties involved in legal matters
  • Maintain organized case files and document management systems to ensure efficient access to information
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience supporting litigation and transactional legal matters
  • Experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and professionals at all levels
  • Experience supporting complex litigation, commercial real estate, corporate transactions, or related legal matters preferred
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and legal document preparation
  • Experience supporting transactional, corporate, commercial real estate, or business law matters
  • Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working within a law firm or corporate legal department preferred
  • Experience supporting complex litigation, commercial real estate, corporate transactions, or related legal matters preferred
