CyberCoders in Jacksonville seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation team. You will manage a diverse civil docket, draft pleadings, conduct research, and prepare cases for trial.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. from an accredited school, Florida Bar in good standing, and 3+ years in civil litigation, with strong writing, research, deposition, and courtroom skills. Ability to work independently within a collaborative firm is essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial litigation, business disputes, professional liability, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests/responses.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for trial including witness prep and exhibits.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients on risks and objectives.
• Maintain regular client communication and provide practical guidance.
• Collaborate with partners and staff to deliver client service.
• Stay current on Florida statutes and procedural developments.
