The attorney will manage cases from pleadings through trial and will have substantial client contact, with opportunities to develop courtroom, case-management, and business-development skills.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• Approximately 3–5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with written discovery, depositions, and law and motion practice.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters efficiently.
• Commitment to excellent client service and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Trial, arbitration, or significant evidentiary-hearing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied civil litigation caseload under appropriate supervision.
• Develop case strategies and provide practical, results-oriented advice to clients.
• Draft complaints, answers, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Analyze factual and legal issues and prepare clear, persuasive written work.
• Work collaboratively with partners, associates, paralegals, and support staff.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of client relationships.
• Participate in firm, professional, and community activities.
