Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the state bar.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience handling depositions, hearings, and motion practice.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, developments, and outcomes
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver exceptional client service
• Analyze risks, evaluate exposure, and formulate litigation recommendations
• Maintain compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
