Job summary

Confidential Employer in Wichita, KS is seeking a licensed Kansas attorney to manage a varied civil litigation caseload and develop case strategies from evaluation through resolution.

Responsibilities include researching, drafting pleadings, communicating with clients, and handling discovery, negotiations, and court appearances. A strong emphasis is placed on ownership, deadlines, and delivering excellent client service in a collegial private-practice setting.

Qualifications

• Active Kansas Bar license in good standing.
• Civil litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage assignments, prioritize deadlines, and follow matters through to completion.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to the demands and pace of private practice.
• Candidates from law firm, in-house, or solo practice backgrounds are welcome.
• Strong judgment, professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability.

• Collaborate with colleagues while taking appropriate ownership of assigned matters and deadlines.
• Maintain organized case files, meet procedural deadlines, and consistently deliver responsive client service.
• Contribute to a collegial private-practice environment where attorneys are expected to exercise sound judgment and initiative.
