Job summary

Orionplacement in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to manage complex matters from strategy to resolution with a hybrid in-office/remote setup. You will take ownership of cases, draft motions, conduct depositions, and guide discovery while collaborating with senior litigators.

The role requires 3+ years of litigation experience, a J.D., and Missouri Bar eligibility, plus strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant litigation experience, ideally involving complex civil or criminal matters.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and Missouri Bar admission or eligibility for prompt admission.
• Strong legal writing, motion practice, discovery, and deposition experience.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases, deadlines, and client relationships.
• Judicial clerkship, trial, or arbitration experience is a plus.
