Civil litigation attorney needed for a law firm that represents 150+ water districts in Oklahoma and nationwide, and many other businesses and individuals, including physicians, in business and litigation-related matters. The firm generally does not represent clients in criminal, personal injury, bankruptcy, or divorce/family law-related matters. Depending on experience, the position would involve all aspects of civil litigation, including researching, writing briefs, taking depositions, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, attending and presenting arguments at hearings, preparing discovery requests/responses, trial, etc. The job responsibilities/tasks would likely expand with experience.
