• Active California Bar membership required.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Experience with depositions and court appearances.
• Knowledge of California civil procedure and court rules.
• Strong organizational and case-management skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters through multiple stages of the case lifecycle.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in witness preparation.
• Perform legal research and develop case strategies with senior attorneys.
• Handle court appearances, hearings, conferences, and other litigation proceedings.
• Review and analyze evidence, discovery materials, and case documents.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy.
• Work with experts, opposing counsel, paralegals, and other litigation professionals.
• Assist with mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Maintain deadlines and proactively move assigned matters toward resolution.
