The successful candidate will work with experienced attorneys, handling discovery, depositions, motions, court appearances, and trial prep while developing professional judgment and community ties in Athens.

Qualifications

• Admitted to Ohio bar in good standing.
• 1–2 years of legal experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Sound judgment, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage assignments and deadlines responsibly.
• Interest in being an active member of the firm and Athens community.

Responsibilities

• Work on civil litigation matters including personal injury, legal malpractice and other professional-negligence claims, probate and trust litigation, foreclosure actions, and landlord-tenant disputes.
• Assist with discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances and trial preparation.
