Confidential Employer in Cleveland, OH seeks an attorney to join our litigation team in an office-centered role. You will handle civil matters from intake to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and coordinating strategy with senior attorneys.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., Ohio bar admission, and 1+ year civil litigation experience; PA or WV bar is a plus. Excellent writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active Ohio Bar admission in good standing.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience; qualifying judicial clerkship experience may count towards this requirement.
• PA or WV Bar admission is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Work closely with experienced attorneys while taking increasing ownership of cases.
• Communicate directly with clients and help deliver practical, results-driven legal solutions.
