EXP is hiring a Civil Intern for our Wisconsin operations in the Appleton area to support transportation construction projects under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience with on-site inspections, CAD drawings, technical specifications, reports and quantity take-offs while collaborating with engineers and design teams.

The internship emphasizes growth, teamwork, and accuracy in a fast-paced consulting environment, offering exposure to real-world infrastructure design.

Qualifications

• ,Currently enrolled in an accredited college civil engineering program.
• Assist with on-site inspections and field assignments.
• Experience with computer aided drafting and Microsoft Office products.
• Punctuality and maturity – ability to work with minimal direction.
• Ability to work outdoors for field assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site inspections and field assignments.
• Utilize CAD programs to assist in the preparation of plan drawings and details.
• Assist with preparation of technical specifications and reports.
• Perform material quantity take-offs.
