Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects from inception to handover in Huntsville, Alabama. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage programmes, budgets and quality, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to drive value through effective planning, procurement, contract administration and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering, highways, infrastructure or related construction projects.
• Knowledge of project controls, programme management and contract processes.
• Strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects from mobilisation through to handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed programmes, budgets, risk registers and documentation.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, costs, resources and quality; take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and construction regulations.
• Lead project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and clients.
• Support commercial management including valuations, variations, procurement and contract obligations.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery, minimise risk and drive continuous improvement.
