Job summary

The Planet Group seeks an experienced Municipal Project Manager for our Huntsville, AL office to lead civil engineering, site development, and municipal infrastructure from planning through construction. You’ll coordinate engineers, designers, and technical staff while safeguarding schedule and budget.

Based in Huntsville, you will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to community growth. A PE license and 10+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil engineering experience
• Experience managing civil projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects from planning to construction.
• Serve as primary client contact and build long-term relationships.
• Lead project teams across multiple offices.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support Huntsville market growth
