Job summary

Civil Construction Contractors, LLC is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing Southeast Louisiana team. This is a full time hourly position with 40-50 hours per week, performing industrial site work across the region.

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience and be able to safely operate excavator, dozer, roller, off-road truck, skid steer, and mini excavator. A valid TWIC card and US driver’s license are required; OSHA card and Security Passport are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in heavy equipment operations.
• Safe and efficient operation of excavator, dozer, roller, off-road truck, skid steer, and mini excavator.
• Adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
• Understand safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Perform maintenance checks on equipment.
• Identify and avoid overhead and underground hazards.
• Discharge miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• A valid TWIC card is REQUIRED.
• Valid US Driver’s license is REQUIRED.
• OSHA card and Security Passport are a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently across sites.
• Perform pre-use inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and project documents.
• Identify hazards and mitigate risks on site.

Civil Construction Contractors, LLC is currently searching for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team working throughout Southeast Louisiana. This is a full time hourly position. Hours range between 40-50 +/- per week. All work performed will be in the industrial workplace.

Heavy Equipment Operator Candidates must possess the following:

• 2+ years’ experience

Heavy Equipment Operator Physical Requirements:

• Ability to physically lift objects in weight up to 60 pounds.
• Climbing of ladders, stairs, and structures.
• Work at above grade and below grade elevations.

All candidates must be able to pass a DISA pre-employment drug screen & alcohol test, physical and DISA background security check.
