DLZ Corporation in Lexington, KY is seeking a senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead design and analysis for bridges, buildings, dams, and levees. You will guide field investigations, oversee reporting, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes safety, integrity, and delivering high-impact geotechnical solutions across projects, with opportunities to contribute to proposals and policy development.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or geological engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience with dams/levees/large bridge foundations.
• PE license in the U.S. (Ohio PE preferred) and experience with ODOT/US Army Corps of Engineers desired.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or Geological Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with expertise in dams, levees, and/or large bridge foundations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S. (Ohio PE preferred).
• Experience with ODOT projects and/or U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s highly desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.Available for occasional short-term travel.
