DLZ Corporation is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing geotechnical team. This role may be based in multiple Midwest locations, including Columbus, OH, with opportunities to support projects nationwide.

You will lead geotechnical design for major infrastructure and mentor engineers while collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of geotechnical experience on bridges, dams, and levees, with a PE license in the U.S.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Geological Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience with dams, levees, or large bridge foundations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S. (Ohio PE preferred).
• Experience with ODOT projects and/or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is highly desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Willingness for occasional short-term travel.

DLZ is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing geotechnical team. This position may be based in Columbus, Ohio; Akron, Ohio; Lexington, Kentucky; Chicago, Illinois; Indianapolis, Indiana; South Bend, Indiana; or Burns Harbor, Indiana , with opportunities to support projects throughout the Midwest. We are looking for a talented professional with 10+ years of experience delivering geotechnical solutions for bridges, dams, levees, and other major infrastructure projects. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery, client engagement, and mentorship while working on challenging, high-profile projects across the region. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geotechnical design and analysis for bridges, buildings/ structures, dams and levees.
