RS&H is seeking a Civil Field Engineering Inspection Intern for Summer 2027 across our Texas markets. You will collaborate with and be mentored by senior engineering staff, gaining hands‑on experience in transportation construction management.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and dependable, enthusiastic participation in field and reporting tasks. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Civil Engineering related degree, comfortable with independently working under supervision,

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering Management, or related program at an ABET‑accredited university.
Ability to work independently with general supervision and in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support inspection teams with field inspections.
Verify the dimensions of prepared and completed work.
Collect and prepare data for evaluation.
Perform engineering with computer-assisted software and equipment.
Prepare reports for site operations activities, including materials used and completed work.
Provide support to engineering and project management associates.
