Bechtel Corporation in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Civil/Structural Field Engineer to support the Construction Team in the CCGT Area on the Cheyenne Power Hub Project. You will coordinate planning, material management, and field execution to deliver safe, high‑quality civil scopes.

This role requires collaboration with engineering, supervision, and craft professionals, and entails creating work packages, tracking progress, and ensuring conformance to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of field or design experience, or 5–6 years of civil/structural field experience in absence of a degree.
Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
Ability to walk the jobsite, climb ladders, and wear PPE.
Knowledge of civil/structural engineering and construction methods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the preparation of construction drawings and planning methods.
Prepare installation work packages and field change requests.
Prepare daily progress reports and progress photography.
Review vendor and subcontractor submittals for conformity to engineering requirements.
Ensure safe work methods and compliance with project requirements.
