Job summary

Moss & Associates LLC seeks a Solar Civil Field Engineer to support day-to-day solar construction activities across Louisiana and Texas. You will assist Superintendents, coordinate grading, and help ensure compliance with plans and safety standards.

This full-time, exempt role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 6 months to 2 years in solar or civil construction, with high travel; you will work with Moss teams nationwide to deliver award-winning projects.

  • 6 months - 2 years' experience in the solar construction industry, civil, grading, land surveying or related experience.
  • Must have great attitude in working with the Moss team.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the civil scope of work for the assigned project and ensure all grading and closeout tasks are in alignment with approved plans
  • Establish daily goals with assigned crews
  • Maintain documentation and prepare project inspection reports
  • Work closely with Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents to ensure all environmental action items are executed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Solar Civil Field Engineers are responsible for assisting the Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents with the day-to-day operations for solar construction projects.
