Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Civil Field Engineer to support day-to-day solar construction operations across multi-state sites. You will assist Superintendents with field tasks, inspections, and documentation to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with 6 months to 2 years in solar construction or related civil fields, and demonstrate a strong, collaborative mindset. This is a full-time, exempt position with Moss, traveling as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline.
  • 6 months - 2 years’ experience in the solar construction industry, civil, grading, land surveying or related experience.
  • Must have great attitude in working with the Moss team.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the civil scope of work for the assigned project and ensure all grading and closeout tasks are in alignment with approved plans.
  • Establish daily goals with assigned crews.
  • Maintain documentation and prepare project inspection reports.
  • Work closely with Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents to ensure all environmental action items are executed.

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss\' Solar Civil Field Engineers are responsible for assisting the Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents with the day-to-day operations for solar construction projects.
