Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Civil Field Engineer for multi-state travel in Louisiana and Texas. You will assist Superintendents with day-to-day solar construction operations, focusing on civil scope alignment with approved plans and grading closeout tasks.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 6 months to 2 years in solar construction or related civil work, plus a strong team-oriented attitude. This is a full-time exempt salaried position with high travel expectations.

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss\' Solar Civil Field Engineers are responsible for assisting the Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents with the day-to-day operations for solar construction projects.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Understand the civil scope of work for the assigned project and ensure all grading and closeout tasks are in alignment with approved plans
  • Establish daily goals with assigned crews
  • Maintain documentation and prepare project inspection reports
  • Work closely with Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents to ensure all environmental action items are executed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Work Experience

  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, technical field, or related discipline
  • 6 months - 2 years’ experience in the solar construction industry, civil, grading, land surveying or related experience
  • Must have great attitude in working with the Moss team
