Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Preconstruction Estimator for Civil Construction to join the Preconstruction Department. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates and directing the bid process for civil projects.

You will analyze drawings, specs, solicit subcontractor quotes, provide value engineering, and maintain estimating templates. 3+ years of civil estimating experience and proficiency with civil estimating software are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an estimator in civil construction.
• Proven take-offs and estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities).
• Proficient in civil estimating software (Agtek, Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, ETC).
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

We are searching for an experienced Civil Estimator in Nashville to join their Construction Precon Department.

As a Preconstruction Estimator - you will help manage, and prepare, our competitive cost estimates for all civil construction projects they perform.

Furthermore, Your expertise will directly impact the company’s ability to win work and grow while expertly executing challenging projects -- so We are looking for the Right Person to join their team.
