Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced Civil Preconstruction Estimator in Nashville to lead our Construction Precon Department. You will manage and prepare competitive cost estimates for civil projects, directly impacting our ability to win work and execute projects.

The role involves analyzing drawings, coordinating bids, and presenting final estimates to senior management, with opportunities for value engineering and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a civil estimator.
• Proven track record estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities, etc.).
• Proficient in Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Orchestrate the estimating and bid processes for civil projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals and plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present final estimates to senior management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when necessary.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain historical cost data and develop estimating templates and tools.

We are searching for an experienced Civil Estimator in Nashville to lead our Construction Precon Department.

As a Preconstruction Estimator - you will manage, and prepare, our competitive cost estimates for all civil construction projects we perform. Furthermore, Your expertise will directly impact the company’s ability to win work and execute projects -- so We are looking for the Right Person to join our team.

Overview:
