Job summary

Edgeboro International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil & Environmental Estimator in New Jersey to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil and environmental projects, including earthwork, utilities, liners, and remediation.

Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and clients through bid to closeout. The role requires 5+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with tools like Bluebeam/PlanSwift/HeavyBid, and the ability to read plans and specs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in civil construction and/or environmental contracting.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, HeavyBid, or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret civil and environmental plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for site work, earthwork, utilities, geomembranes, liners, and environmental materials.
• Review plans, specs, geotechnical and environmental reports to support estimates.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes; develop bid pricing and value engineering options.
• Assist project managers with budgets, job cost forecasting, and change order pricing.
• Maintain historical cost data and unit pricing databases.
