Job summary

WWC Engineering is offering a Summer 2027 Engineering Internship for motivated Civil and Environmental Engineering students. You will collaborate with engineers, surveyors, geologists, and staff on meaningful projects across our service regions.

You will gain hands-on experience in engineering design, construction inspection, environmental assessment, surveying, and regulatory writing, with mentorship from licensed professionals to prepare you for your career.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Surveying, CAD, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing project needs.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and enthusiasm for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering, surveying, and other staff with day-to-day project work.
• Perform preliminary designs and calculations under supervision.
• Learn Autodesk Civil3D and other design software.
• Research and summarize design concepts, regulations, and technical information.
• Collect and document field data including site photos and inspections.
• Contribute to technical reports and regulatory permit applications.
