Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Intern / Co-Op in Civil/Environmental Engineering for 13 to 15 weeks during the Spring 2027 semester. The role is based in Pennington, NJ or Bloomfield, NJ with full-time hours (40 per week).

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in an engineering discipline (required).
• Degree focus in civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, or water resources engineering (preferred).
• Upper division student or Master's enrollment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling, and stormwater inspections.
• Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based tools.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
• Input and analyze data, including maps, tables, and figures.
• Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and project staff; support site visits as needed.
• Transport to client or project sites using personal/company vehicles as required.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering

Civil/Geotechnical/Environmental/Chemical/Water resources focus
