Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. invites applications for an Intern / Co-Op – Civil / Environmental Engineering or Science in Acton, MA. This full-time 40-hour week role runs for about 13 to 15 weeks during spring or summer 2027, with potential for future opportunities while you study.

You will apply civil, environmental, and geotechnical knowledge to real-world projects. Preferred candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, have a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
• -Strong interpersonal, technical writing, and communication skills are required.
• -Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail required.
• -Current enrollment in a Civil, Environmental, or related degree program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based tools.
• Prepare reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
• Input and analyze data, including maps, tables and figures.
• Collaborate with engineers, geologists, staff, and contractors on projects.
• Possibility of fieldwork such as soil sampling and inspections.
• Drive to client or project sites as needed.
