Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. invites an Intern / Co-Op in Civil / Environmental Engineering for our Pennington, NJ or Bloomfield, NJ offices.

This full-time internship (40 hours/week) lasts 13–15 weeks during Spring 2027, with potential for up to two additional rotations while pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies. You will apply civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, and water resources knowledge to real-world projects, support fieldwork, data analysis, and technical writing, and

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field (required).
• Degree focus in civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, or water resources (preferred).
• Upper division or Master's enrollment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork including soil and groundwater sampling, stormwater inspections, and drilling oversight.
• Perform engineering calculations using computer-based tools.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
• Input and analyze data; create maps, tables and figures.
• Coordinate with engineers, geologists, office staff, and contractors; travel to project sites as needed.
