The role applies civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, and water resources knowledge to real-world projects, under the guidance of engineers and scientists at Geosyntec.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in civil, geotechnical, environmental, chemical, or water resources engineering.
• Preferred: upper-division (sophomore/junior) or Master's enrollment.
• Valid U.S. driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling, stormwater inspections, and drilling and contractor oversight;
• Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools
• Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
• Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures
• Follow instructions and interact with engineers, geologists, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel; and
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
