Job summary

Verdantas in Blue Ash, OH invites motivated civil or environmental engineering students for a Spring 2027 intern role. You will gain hands-on experience with engineering design, CAD drawings, data analysis, and field support, under mentorship from a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree, proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word and Excel, able to work independently or in teams, and willing to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel; prior Co-Op or Internship is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparing engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids.
• Assisting with fieldwork such as site inspections, surveys, GPS mapping.
• Researching, collecting, and entering data, applying technical principles to data interpretation.
• Reviewing submittals and technical documents for project requirements; preparing drafts.
• Preparing CAD and GIS drawings and documents.
• Annual update of cost-estimating database.
• Prepare and update design and calculation templates.
• Miscellaneous assignments as needed.
