Job summary

Verdantas LLC in Fort Mitchell, KY is seeking a driven Civil/Environmental Engineering Co-op for Spring 2027. You'll gain hands-on experience and mentorship while contributing to engineering projects that impact water resources, infrastructure, and sustainable design.

You'll assist with calculations, drawings, fieldwork, data analysis, CAD/GIS tasks, and cost-estimating templates, learning from a collaborative team. Travel may be required; strong writing and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent written communication and client-facing articulation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specs, and visuals.
• Assist with fieldwork (site inspections, surveys, GPS mapping).
• Collect and analyze data, apply technical principles.
• Review submittals and draft documents for project compliance.
• Prepare CAD and GIS drawings and documents.
• Update cost-estimating database annually.
• Create and update design and calculation templates.
