Job summary

SCS Engineers in Madison, WI invites students for a Summer 2027 internship in civil and environmental engineering. You’ll work with experienced teams on projects spanning landfill construction, permitting, storm water, site development, and sustainability, typically 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include construction observation, sample collection, data management, reporting, surveying and CAD drafting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in civil, environmental, geological, or biological systems engineering and graduating by June 2029 required.
• Willing to live in the Madison area for Summer 2027; housing allowance not provided.
• Solid technical and computer skills; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing.
• Ability to travel overnight for work outside of an office setting may be required.
• Preference for candidates pursuing consulting and licensure after graduation.
