Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Technician.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and relevant engineering design tools.
• Understanding of municipal standards and South African civil engineering practices.
• Experience in site supervision and quality assurance on construction projects.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and detailing of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and earthworks.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure quality control.
• Perform calculations for grading, drainage, and other civil engineering aspects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Maintain project records and assist with reporting requirements.
