Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or equivalent in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying Technology.
• Class D driver’s license is required.
• Must obtain MnDOT certifications as determined by Employer.
• Ability to obtain MnDOT Team Leader Bridge Inspection Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design highways and prepare plans and specifications.
• Perform surveying, staking, and inspection of roads and bridges.
• Oversee contract projects and coordinate with contractors and utilities.
• Inspect plant operations and materials for conformance to specs.
• Assist in right-of-way surveys, legal descriptions, and easements.
