Job summary

AES Northeast is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support municipal, commercial, institutional, private development, and residential projects. Under supervision, you will perform drafting, plan reviews, surveying, inspecting, and assist the public.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and reviewing construction plans.
• Experience in field surveys and inspections.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CADD for water and wastewater systems.
• Research codes, applicable standards, regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Develop and document Basis of Design.
• Perform basic estimating for construction costs.
• Write specifications and reports.
• Conduct field/site visits to document conditions and verify design intent.
• Coordinate with AES staff, clients, and contractors.
