We specialize in both public and private sector improvement projects. We are currently seeking full-time Civil Engineering Technicians to join our team.

POSITION

Full-time Civil Engineering Technician positions are available in our Portage, Brookfield, Johnson Creek, and Tomahawk offices. Benefits of the position include:

Qualifications

• Minimum of a two-year civil engineering technology degree
• 1+ years’ related experience
• Broad knowledge of the construction process
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written, graphical, and verbal forms
• Experience with Microsoft Office required
• Experience with Field Manager and/or Field Book
• Knowledge of Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local agency procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of WisDOT Materials process desirable
• Certifications in WisDOT Highway Technician Program desirable
• Civil 3D experience desirable
• Survey Experience desirable
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide reliable transportation
• Ability to travel as needed for meetings, on-site inspections, etc.
• Ability to multitask office and fieldwork duties
• Technical and problem-solving skills

• Perform highway and bridge construction inspection
• Review, read, and interpret project plans and construction documents
• Assist project management as a team member in division or project activities
• Help prepare plans and design documents
