Job Details

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Position: Entry Level Civil Technician

We will provide training for the following responsibilities:

• Review project specifications and collaborate with Civil Engineers on plan preparation, testing, design modifications, and reports.
• Drive a company vehicle to construction sites and document activities in daily logs.
• Communicate with contractors and project managers regarding construction activities.
• Observe site operations for compliance with plans and material specs.
• Assist in project design and plan development using software like Topo Dot, MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D, and ArcGIS.
• Operate survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station, and assist in setting construction stakes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, GIS, Land Surveying, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and maps.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Strong math and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Competitive pay ranging from $49,325 to $55,490, depending on experience, plus annual bonuses.
