Job summary

Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) is seeking summer interns in Kalispell, Montana. Interns will assist across diverse project types, from surveying and inspection to engineering design and reporting, supporting work for federal, state and local agencies as well as private clients.

Candidates should be enrolled in a civil engineering curriculum for at least one year and demonstrate a solid understanding of basic engineering principles, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a design team.
• Willingness to travel and work outside as needed.
• Effective written and verbal communication is important.

Responsibilities

• Support surveying, inspection, engineering design and reporting efforts.
• Assist on projects for federal, state, local agencies and private clients.
• Contribute to multiple service areas including water/wastewater, transportation, site development, airports, highways, structures and field services.
