Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer and Project Manager to lead land development projects, mentor engineers, and engage directly with clients. The role offers ownership-like opportunities through ESOP-friendly structure and a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 10+ years of civil engineering design experience, preferably within land development.
• 3+ years in a project leadership role, mentoring and leading workflow.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven ability to manage land development projects from entitlements through construction.
• Strong technical design and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and collaborate with public agencies.
• Interest in business development and identifying new opportunities.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you'll serve as a key technical and client-facing leader responsible for successfully guiding land development projects from concept through construction.

• Identify project design criteria and develop effective, practical engineering designs.
• Lead the planning and execution of land development projects from entitlements through construction support.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and build strong, long-term relationships.
• Lead and coordinate plan processing with municipalities and other public agencies.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering staff.
• Help manage project workflow, schedules, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track.
• Participate in marketing, business development, lead generation, and pursuit of new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders to successfully deliver projects.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 10+ years of civil engineering design experience, preferably within land development.
• 3+ years of experience in a project leadership role, serving as a central design resource, mentor, and leader responsible for project workflow.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects from entitlements through construction support.
• Strong technical design and problem-solving skills.
