Typical projects emphasize site planning, permitting, and infrastructure design, requiring strong leadership, PE licensure, and 15+ years of experience in municipal, civil, water, and wastewater sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Civil Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer registration required.
• Minimum of 15 years of related industry and project management experience.
• Documented experience serving municipal, civil, water, and wastewater clients in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects and client relationships throughout the Glastonbury area.
• Develop professional, cost-effective plans and specifications.
• Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of engineers, technicians, and designers.
• Manage project design, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Delegate project responsibilities and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Prepare project agreements, including scopes of work, schedules, work plans, and fees.
• Monitor the financial performance of assigned projects.
• Support employee career development, performance planning, mentoring, and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain business relationships while identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
