Job summary

Certerra seeks an experienced civil engineer to oversee office, laboratory and field operations on testing and certification projects. You will mentor staff, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with accreditations while managing budgets and contracts.

The role includes site visits, field calculations, preparing proposals and monthly billings, reviewing plans and communicating with clients to keep projects on track. Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Civil engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight to office, laboratory and field operations.
• Prepare final affidavits and maintain accreditations.
• Lead, mentor and train staff.
• Provide technical guidance, review progress and advise procedural changes.
• Manage projects and prepare budgets, contracts and billings.
• Perform site visits and field calculations to support estimates and proposals.
• Receive and respond to client communications professionally.
• Use computer programs to illustrate project specifications and estimate costs and schedules.
• Track opportunities across multiple databases and use Salesforce for project/client tracking.
