Job description
The Civil Engineering Intern position will support project teams in our Real Estate and Land Development market.
Responsibilities
Offer support to senior engineers by utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D and understanding plan interpretations
Provide project support by assisting in drafting documents, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, and utility computations
Conduct research on properties and projects for zoning including local and state requirements
Complete site visits and field assignments as needed
Assist in providing construction‑related services such as permit applications, construction plans, and other related construction documents
Communicate with the Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status to meet designated chargeability goals
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University
Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365
Entry‑level experience with AutoCAD is highly preferred
Proven ability to work well both within a team and independently
