Job summary

You’ll use CAD tools to create plan sheets, assist with specifications and reports, and participate in field data collection and project meetings.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS applications is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and site development.
• Utilize CAD software to create plan sheets, details, and figures.
• Assist in preparing technical specifications, engineering reports, and cost estimates.
• Perform material quantity take-offs and contact vendors for budgetary pricing.
• Review engineering drawings and perform quality checks.
• Conduct field inspections, tests, and data collection for design support.
• Support project teams through documentation, permitting, and coordination with stakeholders.
