Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC) in Monroeville, PA offers a Civil Engineering Intern summer program. You will support project teams with civil tasks across industries and gain hands-on experience in Geotechnical, Civil/Site, and Solid Waste disciplines.

You will work with mentors, attend workshops, and build a professional network while preparing for a full-time engineering career. Local candidates preferred as housing isn’t provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program
• AutoCAD experience or GIS experience
• Strong technical writing skills
• Prior internship and/or related survey experience preferred

Overview

As a Civil Engineering Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., (CEC), in our Monroeville, PA office, you'll perform civil engineering tasks supporting project teams to assist clients across a variety of industries. You'll have the opportunity to work across various disciplines including Geotechnical, Civil/Site and/or Solid Waste. Housing assistance is not provided, therefore local candidates are preferred.

Through the CEC Internship Program, you will:

• Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams across functional groups and locations
• Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities
• Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges
• Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time career
