Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our office. You will gather data, log notes, and support technicians and engineers in studies and projects.

This entry-level opportunity requires 60 credit hours in civil engineering (ABET) with basic AutoCAD and stormwater modeling skills, and no prior experience is necessary for students in relevant degree programs.

• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Must have basic AutoCAD skills and basic stormwater modeling skills.
• No prior experience required for enrolled Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related field.

Your Role

• Gathers, logs and summarizes field notes or other data to be used by technicians or professionals in technical studies or projects.
• Establishes and maintains records or files of technical fata or documents.
• Performs mathematical calculations
• Performs various routine drafting and CAD assignments.
• Assists in the preparation of graphic displays and presentation materials.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate'S or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have basic AutoCAD skills and basic stormwater modeling skills

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
