Job summary

Egis Group in Pennsylvania is seeking summer interns to support roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering design under supervision. You will help develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates while conducting site visits and maintaining project documentation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering with strong communication skills, CAD experience, and the potential to obtain EIT before graduation. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with CAD software is a plus.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain one before graduation.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway, bridge, and/or traffic engineering design under supervision of a Project Manager.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits and manage project documentation.
• Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments.
• Support project teams with data collection and analysis.
