Job summary

HNTB Corporation is offering a 2027 Summer Internship Program in Austin, Round Rock, and San Antonio to support engineering teams on construction, rail, transit, roadway, structures, traffic and transportation planning projects.

Interns will assist with tasks, research and design, and help prepare drawings and documents under supervision. A high school diploma or GED and ongoing enrollment in an accredited engineering program are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
