KPFF Austin is seeking motivated civil engineering interns to gain hands-on experience on site development and transportation projects. Interns are integrated into project teams and work closely with mentors to deliver real-world engineering solutions.

We hire juniors or above, including master's candidates, and offer mentorship, a collaborative environment, and opportunities to contribute to notable public and private projects in the Austin area.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and document potential scope of work
• Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods at a desk and view a screen
• Ability to learn and apply established engineering principles to solve problems with sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Interns join project teams and work alongside seasoned engineers on real projects.
• We place interns in teams ready to share professional experience as they work on projects together.
