Job summary

KPFF Austin is seeking motivated civil engineering interns to join a team working on site development, parks, and public infrastructure projects. Interns will be integrated into project teams, learn from senior mentors, and contribute to site evaluations, documentation, and design support.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and document potential scope of work
• Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time at a desk working on a computer and viewing a screen
• Ability to learn and apply established engineering principles to solve problems and/or overcome obstacles using sound judgment, independent decision making, and prolonged focus

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil engineering tasks on site development projects.
• Support documentation of site conditions and potential scope of work.
• Collaborate with mentors to develop professional engineering skills.
