Bohler's Atlanta, GA office is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world site design projects. As a Spring 2027 intern, you will gain insight into daily operations of a civil engineering firm and understand the complete site development process, from concept to construction.

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Experience the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
• Learn the stages of the land development and site design process.
• Enhance your technical skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D to design concept plans.
• Prepare grading, stormwater, utility, and erosion control plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive projects forward.
• Visit sites to observe field conditions and learn the engineering process.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to design and process improvements.

About The Role

Bohler's office in Atlanta, GA is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world site design projects. As a Spring 2027 intern, you will gain insight into the daily operations of a civil engineering firm and understand the complete site development process, from concept to construction. By working alongside engineers, designers, and project managers, you will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, supporting the design and permitting of commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments.

What You’ll Do

• Experience the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm


• Learn the stages of the land development and site design process


• Enhance your technical skills with hands-on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to design:
